I recently ordered the Reg Gold 161. There are several things I like about it, with only a couple 'small' things I wish were a bit different:

Likes:
- the craftsmanship of the pen is excellent
- the red gold is every bit as beautiful as I had hoped
- the smoothness of the mechanism is fantastic
- the overall color & elegance of the pen is fantastic
- the quality of the writing experience is exceptional
- Appelboom did a fantastic job with packing & shipping, very fast!

A couple small things I wish were different...size & weight:
- I have become a big fan of large, heavy pens. I would say the 161 is on the lighter side, and only what I would call a mid-sized pen. I absolutely knew these things before my purchase, but it doesn't mean a little extra weight & size wouldn't be great. :-)

Overall, I am enjoying writing with this pen very much. I know I will enjoy and be proud to use it regularly for years to come!
