Pilot Iroshizuku syun-gyo ink is not actually black, but a very dark brown. Browns come in different colors, this one is reddish, but it is so dark that you can't feel the redness when writing normally. The ink is fluid. If you draw, it goes well with Pilot Iroshizuku to-ro ink.
I like this ink.
Pilot iroshizuku hana ikada ink is a true solid pink, but soft and reads perfectly. The cartridge is very practical, beautiful and discreet. As always with Appelboom, the package comes very well wrapped.
After trying a sample of Tsutsuji I know I have to get a full bottle. Unfortunately I was mistakenly sent a 15ml bottle instead of the 50ml one and had to contact customer service. I am satisfied with Appelboom's fast response and the mistake was solved very quickly. Still want to buy a full bottle though, you just can't get enough of this ink!
Probably a bit unusual, for personal reasons only I bought this ink because of its name “Kosumosu”. Blue and green are my colours of choice when I ink-up my pens.
This is my first pink. It’s a good pure pink, very good readable and very pleasant on more chamois cream coloured paper. (Tested with a medium nib.)
I was pleasantly surprised by the soft colour and decent saturation.
Chiku Rin is a bright and light shade of green and sometimes looks yellow when the ink is still wet. Because of its colour and medium saturation I prefer to use white paper with this ink for easy readability. I love that it’s a more wet ink.
