A very nice and pleasant ink for anyone searching for a rich yellow with great shading leaning into a deeper orange and brown.
As always, Robert Oster inks are well behaved and are suitable for all kinds of nibs and filling systems with little maintenance even after drying out.
This ink is a perfect match for my TWSBI Eco Caffe and Espresso. It is a nice and saturated brown tone. It provides a constant ink flow and a smooth writing experience.
This is a very nice and well behaving ink but the fire part, that red sheen, is very subtle. For some that can be a negative, for me it is a positive because it occurs only occasionally it is more special and the more I enjoy it while using it.
I am so happy I puchased this ink. I love coffee + brown inks so this is a perfect combo. Ink is not dry. It compliments my Leonardo Furore Ginger fountain pen so much. Love it!
I purchased Evening Sapphire. I don’t know why but Robert Oster Inks have a special spark for me. It hits different than other brand inks. I love the dusky light blue color and the shading of this ink.
These inks are always incredibly well-behaved and come in unique colours that I haven’t seen from other brands (especially the Shake ‘n’ Shimmy collection). I only wish they came in glass bottles, but that’s a minor complaint
Tested with Pilot Capless 'B', Clairefontaine 90 GSM paper.
This is my first Robert Oster ink. Summer Sky is a light blue color that is comparable to, for example, Pilot Kon-Peki or Akkerman Passage Blue. This ink is not particularly dry or wet and has quite a bit of shading.
