Nice little one

I'v got that little gem as companion for my traveller notebook passport. Ordered copper one and got yellow nib and clip to match the color. Copper already started to develop nice patina and looks gorgeous on my brown leather tn passport. Got medium nib and maybe I should'v got the fine or extra fine one. Its a nice smooth writer. My preferred paper is MD Paper, I use also Claire Fontaine, Regalla and Tomoe River. Very nice and wet nib, no skips and for the last week using it when out and about never had a hard start. Very nice! Its tiny and kinda unnatural in my hand compared to my other pens but its not uncomfortable experience. If you are looking for a small capable pocket pen definitely try this one! The only thing that I didn't like is the cartridges. Those are small. I get it, there is no space for bigger ones, but still if this can have a dropper version it would be nice. Maybe titanium one but I like copper as material more. I really enjoy this pen!

If someone if fond of kaweco fireblue and rose gold. Try this pen out.

I say this because when new and polished it copper looks like real rose gold.

When patina develops it doesn’t black out copper instead the patina is red or violet etc etc like fireblue feeling.

I'm so happy with my new fountain pen. I choose it in copper because the colour is so close to the one of my skin. When I'm holding it, I feel I have an extra finger. The writing is smooth and so delicate. I adopted it instantly!

Kaweco reduced to the max

The pen is as silm as you could imagine. It's a joy how well the copper is turned and milled! If you screw tha cap to the end of the pen you'll get a nice length to write even with big hands.

i'd recommend this pen - it's so small but a blast!

Pure joy to work with

The Liliput was the first fountain pen that introduced me to KAWECO and I love it.

The design is on point. Just what it needs, slim, compact and simple. Yet amazingly crafted. There are no gaps or loose parts.
And allthough I have quiet large hands, its no problem to write with the Liliput when the cap is applied.
I'm using it with an extra-fine nib and the ink flows without interruption.
Even when I write fast or draw with it, it keeps up effortlessly and still remains precise.
As an alternative option, you can even use a little squeeze converter so ink cartridges are not necessary anymore.

What I think is a very nice detail, is that the copper gains a patina over time and becomes unique to the owner, adding a certain feel of bonding in that sense.

All in all it is a very nice fountain pen and its just pure joy working with it.

Great Little Pen

This copper Liliput is indeed small and to write I must post the cap - which is screwed to the end of the barrel. It has good weight for a little pen. Why this pen? - I intend to use it as my EDC and when I travel. It is convenient and writes beautifully and is buttery smooth. Instead of the cartridge, I use a Kaweco mini squeeze converter which works well. In addition I added a Kaweco Reto Liliput clip which I highly recommend as it matches the pen perfectly. The medium nib writes just slightly wider than a Japanese medium. Note that a Kaweco Fine nib is almost like a Japanese fine. Above all, German quality engineering oozes from this pen.

As a fan of simplicity and minimalism, the copper lililput is my new favourite pen. It's size, weight, machining and, of course, super smooth writing make this a perfect addition to my every day carry. The superb service of Appelboom and swift delivery means I know where I'll be getting my pens in the future too!

Kaweco uses metals to create fine jewelry. It is one of the finest pens I have ever held.
