Benu Talisman Lily of the Incas Fountain pen

Benu introduces two new editions to its Talisman collection of pens – the Frankincense and the Lily of the Incas. Both substances have a long history of magical and ceremonial use that have inspired these new, exciting designs. One of the oldest documented magical resins, Frankincense has been used in the Middle East and Asia from the Biblical times for religious, spiritual and magical purposes. While the Lily of Incas, also known as Alstroemeria, originates from South America, where it was venerated as a divine gift bestowed by the God of the Sun. Although stemming from different parts of the the world, both substances are surrounded by numerous legends and myths. Drawing inspiration from these tales of yore, we set out to convey these stories not only in the color and style of each pen, but by infusing the namesake substances into each pen’s material.

The Benu Talisman fountain pens have a stainless steel nib and uses a cartrdige/converter filling mechanism.

The Benu Pen company is a small Russian company. Originally from Moscow, the company is now located in Armenia. Benu makes handmade writing instruments in streamlined shapes in vibrant color combinations. The name Benu comes from the ancient Egyptian deity linked with the sun, creation and rebirth. Benu is a symbol of constant changes, recurrence and renovations.
