Review Title: Eye candy

To be honest, I bought this pen mainly for the looks of it, especially the colour combination. The metallic blue has a hint of teal which matches the rose gold trim and nib exceptionally well.
And it writes quite nicely and smooth. Mine has a medium nib, the ink I currently use is the new J. Herbin Turquoise de Perse. There were no hard starts despite the ink being a shimmering one even after some days not using the pen. One thing I highly recommend is Appelbooms tune & smooth option. In the past my experiences with Conklin nibs weren’t the best, but I really got no complaints here. A little extra money well spent.
The only slight issue I have is the threading of the cap. It tends to jam up easily if you don’t put it on precisely straight. But this could be due to my individual pen since I didn’t notice this problem with another Deco Crest I own.
