The pen is beautiful, it feels great in my hand and it even feels good to write with — for no more than 5 - 10 minutes. The flow starts out fine but within minutes the skips and the skips start. I inked it with Diamine Eclipse. Maybe there's some trick I'm missing with a this piston-fill pen, but I've used others of that type without trouble.

Don't be fooled by the low price. This is a pen worth getting. The nib writes very smooth out of the box. You can really smell the ebonite. The piston movement is without issues. I'm glad I bought this.

I just bought this piston-filling pen with a medium steel nib, and it works perfectly! So far my experiences with relatively inexpensive pens of this brand has been excellent.
