This is truly a grail pen to most, myself included. It's exquisitely made and finished, and it's perfectly balanced and ergonomic. The raden is even more densely packed than on the 3776 Galaxy! The nib is perfect...to be expected of Platinum....but I will admit I was expecting the 18k nib to be little softer (at least from what I've read it should be). In general it's a bigger pen than most. About the size of a Sailor KOP or Pelikan M1000; but it doesn't feel big in the hand. This will likely live on my desk indefinitely. Thank you Appelboom and Platinum both!

Fairly smooth and wet nib. To be honest, I was expecting a bit more feedback (Which a rather enjoy) but this has just the barest hint of feedback. Flow is great but I am experiencing minor hard starts. However, let's first use this for a bit before complaining about that. Line width is somewhere between a Pilot medium and Fine or just a tad thinner than an M1000 fine nib. Therefore, near perfectly suited for my writing style and size. Fit and finish is absolutely superb. The Urushi has been done perfectly. Only complaint is that the red urushi around the section is not continuous over the circumference on my example. Just a warning however. I have the unit with the barrel cap threads cut into the ebonite as opposed to the metal threads. It does appear that it would be rather easy to cross thread and inadvertently damage these threads if the cap is not aligned correctly to the barrel when screwing the cap back on.
