Review Title: Quality pen, but impractical

Pros: This is a well-built pen, sturdy and good looking. When posted it fits my hand very comfortably. The nib writes smoothly, and the flow is well adjusted. Capped, it is extremely pocket-able, and the nib does not leak significantly from the jostles of being carried around. The screw-in nib unit makes it easy to switch nibs.
Cons: The barrel is too small for a useful converter, but a bit longer then an international short cartridge, allowing it to fall off the nipple if the cartridge mouth gets loose (i.e. from re-filling and re-using it) - a potential mess. A small spring at the bottom of the barrel could have helped keep the cartridge in place. The more significant problem, though, is the requirement to screw the cap to post it: the pen is way too small to use unposted, even for a quick note, but having to unscrew to uncap then re-screw to post just to jot down a note (and then repeat in the opposite order to cap) makes this pen very impractical as an everyday carry pocket pen.
