Review Title: Successful in every way

This pen is gorgeous, successfully combining a black and muted red striped barrel with a shiny red-pink trim that highlights the original, porthole-like, ink window.
It is fairly girthy but relatively light and well balanced, fitting comfortably in my rather small hand. The soft and warm feel of the ebonite body is especially enjoyable.
The rose gold plated nib is rather stiff but it is on the wet side and quite smooth with a pleasant hint of feedback.
I've been using the pen reliably with Rohrer and Klingner pernambuco ink for over a month now and I'm more than happy with this combination, both visually and in terms of writing performance.
