Thank you to the staff at Appelboom for their professional service. This is my second Leonardo Momento Zero and I am pleased with my purchase. The gold nib is lovely with a hint of feedback depending upon the paper. When very light pressure is used, that is where the beauty of how this pen writes comes into play. The metal covering on the converter system is unique and adds to the luxurious appearance. I do enjoy having the option of filling the pen via the blind cap as well.

I fell in love with this beautiful pen and was searching for the most affordable place to get it. Retailers in Japan set higher prices, around 200 Euros. So with the free shipping, I got a great deal.

I got a medium nib, and it writes beautifully. Occasional skipping but hey, it’s an Italian pen :) I have a feeling this performs best with the Officina Italiana inks. Skipping was most prominent with Pelican 4001 Royal Blue. I ordered a Leonardo deep purple with this pen and the ink color is a wonderful match with the pen. I plan to order Appelboom’s nib tuning service from next time.
