Review Title: An great dark red ink

Like the other Herbin Essentials inks, the Rouge d’Orient is a near perfect example of a dark red ink. It writes and behaves beautifully with great flow and no feathering on good paper. When wet, it is a bright, saturated red but it dries to a crimson red with beautiful shading. Like the other inks in this line-up, this red ink is a model example of a great dark red ink. It has become my standard red.
