Review Title: del Vecchio's rhythmic lines and focus on excellent performance.

The proportions of the nib to the section, the section to the barrel, the barrel to the cap, flows easily for the eye and fits snugly in the hand.

The stacked arco oak resin pays homage to the famous Omas arco bronze celluloid, however, although it's not as visually prestigious as arco bronze, the Pineider arco oak does have its own charm. The nib and trim is a silver colour, probably rhodium.

I prefer posting pens and this cap posts magnetically. Capping is also magnetic and aligns in line with the layered lines of the resin. Both capping and posting work without any hindrance and in a likable way.
The feather quill clip is proficiently sculpted and is spring loaded.
The pen is a piston filler and mechanism works very smoothly.

The star of the show is the gold nib. It gives pleasurable line variation and in my example gives a line from 0.3-0.4 mm to 1 mm. The feed on my example keeps up well with the flexing.

No doubt about it... it's a really good pen.
