I like Safaris, however, triangle grip is not the most comfortable for me. Regular round ones work better for me. I took out one star due to triangle grip since you can't get out of it.
1 star out from price/quality due to I got a pen with very sharp and uncomfortable seems, remained after plastic production. Such seems are not sharp or even visible at rest of my Safaries or Vista. Also Lamy nibs are not the best ones for me. I like more feel and feedback of JoWo and Pilot steel nibs, they write more smoothly. And I am talking about nibs with aligned tines and after some micro-tuning with a micromesh. So nibs were compared in fair conditions.
In overall, Lamy Safary with matte finish is a great affordable pen and this color is very cool!

I like that the Safari is once again in a matte finish. Adds a lovely texture and great feel in hand.

I wasn't really looking for a new pen, but the Strawberry and Cream caught my eye. Not a Safari collector, but bought both pens. As expected, the pens are up to par. Will never understand why the nib sizes are finer than typical European sizes, but that is just an observation and nothing more. Very happy with Appelboom and the pens.
