As always the Edelstein series is fabulous. It is always my go to ink. Smooth and beautiful. This time around the blue and goldish shimmer is great combination. The shading is very nice especially if you are using large font. Highly recommend this ink as it is a little special in the Edelstein series.

Beautiful ink

Much cheaper than other vendors - came quickly with international express mail, despite not being in stock at the time of order.

Shimmer is crazy good - even after a good shake, I'm not used to shimmering inks and the maintenance. On my Lamy Safari Medium nib, it clogged up a bit as it dried the first day returning to the pen some hours later, so I'll have to get used to that. Adding a bit of water to the nib end fixed it almost instantly and I got to see the beautiful gold lines where the nib pressed into the tissue. Will try it in a broad nib later on and compare.

Limited ink released every year. Actually, I don't like pearl ink, but it's definitely the quality that I can't stand.

Pelikan Edelstein Golden Lapis fountain pen ink is like having a tiny universe in a bottle. Just observing the golden sparkles floating around in the ink bottle makes the purchase worthwhile. Besides the shimmering particles, some shading of the blue base ink can be observed as well. The ordering process is simple, and international shipping and handling were very fast.
