The Herbin Noir Abyssal ink is very well behaved and flows easily. No feathering on Rodia, Clairfontaine, and Tomoe River paper. It is not a super black ink so you will be able to see some shading, depending on how much ink is put down. I prefer very black inks, so the Herbin Perle Noire ink is my favorite. Overall, the Noir Abyssal is another fine ink from Herbin.
