Classic Lines Make for a Great Pen

This pen has classic lines in a beautiful navy blue. The presentation box is great and comes with an interesting book. You can't go wrong if you are looking for a JFK related limited edition. Also, unlike a lot of limited editions this is a piston filler.

The “theme” pen is a storyteller to whom it designated: Defoe "Robinson Crusoe", Louis Armstrong the jazz trumpet, Shakespeare, Da Vince, Einstein etc.

1.The storyteller

Three cap rings represent JFK brothers: Joseph, Edward, and Robert. Navy-blue coating unravels JFK a prior Navy Officer, two silver strips at the bottom as his rank lieutenant (O-3), space shuttle on the nib as Apollo Space Program. It’s a historical magnificence to remind what greatness had been achieved in the past under his name.

2. Features: color, feeling, Mechanism

JFK's simplicity prevails by historical features on the pen without dissonance. Navy-blue, arch-shape body, much heavier and metal-like feeling than the classic Montblanc meisterstrück (which is more plastic, light feeling pen). Ink cartridge is the piston mechanism (Best Ref: Lamy 2000).

There’s nudging and resistance if the paper isn't well applied to the pen.
This is a great considerable option, to whom it designated.

I love the astronomy and in general I'm interested about the space exploration programs and this pen reminds me this kind of things because of the dedication to JFK and for a beautiful "LEM" engraving on the nib.

The pen is not too big and is heavy with the cap on but the weight is located more on the cap so when you write the pen is comfortable also for a long time writing session.

The OB nib is fantastic, buttery smooth and very versatile due to the various angle of usage that allows to write thin or broad line.

I like so much this pen that i decided to buy also the burgundy version.

It's an absolutely beautiful pen made in honor of JFK. My only issue with the pen is that the cap does not post. Because of this, I only use this pen at home where the inconvenience of not being able to post the cap is much easier to deal with. Nevertheless, this is still my favorite pen.
