I got the pen unexpectedly quickly. It is an impressive beauty, eye-catching, to say the least! It has some heft to it, yet I have a great writing experience with it. Its nib is simply beautiful! It sometimes takes a little effort to stop staring at it while it’s in your hand. It writes smoothly, with a little feedback. The clip works well, even on thick fabrics. Overall, it is wonderfully impressive! Thank you, Appellboom! (The mini Stroopwafels are delicious!)

This was my first purchase from Appelboom Pennen and I could not have been more pleased with the service I received. Initially when I placed the order, the fountain pen was not in stock, but they went ahead and obtained one for me from the manufacturer.
Due to COVID-19 lockdowns in Europe, it took sometime to receive this silver beauty, but it arrived today beautifully wrapped, just in time for the New Year’s Eve present exchange amongst the family members. This will be a gift for my dad, who has passion for fountain pens.
The actual pen is more beautiful than the photos displayed on the seller’s website.

The only way to tell this pen apart from the Platinum-plated variant is the crown at the top of the cap. The Sterling Silver variant has a double-crown at the top of the cap.

In the hand, the pen has excellent heft and balance. The section has a very nicely sculpted shape. What is intriguing about this pen is that everything is made of Ag925 silver...cap, barrel, section, all made of silver.

The nib is a lovely buttery smooth writer, very wet and juicy, and very consistent. I've had no issues with the nib on this pen whatsoever.

Do be aware that Sterling Silver will tarnish over time, and this pen needs to be polished periodically to retain its lovely sparkle and gloss.

This is the pen when you want to reward yourself...worth every cent.
