Bought this for my lamy as a replacement. I dropped my pen, but I was able to get another nib from you guys. Love the nib, and how it was wrapped. The nib writes beautifully, and I have zero complaints.
My original Lamy 2000 came with a "fine" nib, which writes more like a western medium. This EF nib is perfect for my daily use. The nib is smooth and not scratchy, has a slight architect grind/form to it. Overal a satisfactory purchase!
I damaged my nib beyond repair and could not source a replacement in the UK. Appelboom came to the rescue, excellent service so I will be buying from them again
I bought my l2000 w/B nib. Nib is fantastic but I write with F or M nib most of the time. B is my signature nib but I rarely use it. So I took F nib in Appelboom and it is fantastic on the first line. It is 100% what i was expecting from LAMY.
Bought this nib unit as a replacement and am delighted to be able to use my pen again. One of the few that sells the nib unit, service was excellent and was able to write with it once out of the box with no issues. Thumbs up.
I ordered two extra nibs for my Lamy 2K: I got an OM and a B and they write beautifully! Besides, this is one of the few places where I can just get a replacement nib without ordering a whole new pen :)
It took a while to get the nibs because they had to be ordered from Lamy and that took time. I received a very good service and Joost was always very quick to reply to my questions.
Lamy make what is considered one of the best pen out there, if not the most expensive, the 2000. Surprisingly, it's very hard to find official replacement nibs. No more thanks to Appelboom, which as usual, offer fantastic service. The nib comes with the feed, which is great, as I've noticed not all Lamy nibs fitted all Lamy feeds, especially with older pens.
I ordered the fine and medium nibs and am very happy with them. I'm not sure if they were tuned in-store, but these are the best Lamy 2000 nibs I've used. They write wonderfully. There was some confusion over whether the nibs came with feeds, but Appelboom updated the description to reflect that the nibs do not come with feeds. I was able to purchase those parts from Lamy Repair USA. My package arrived safely in the United States and I will be purchasing from Appelboom again. Thanks!
