This is very elegant pen. The design is class and have touch feeling of aluminium with its classy design. Writing wise nib is very smooth and ink flow is on wet side. I have ordered medium nib and flow is wet enough. Worth in your collection

Review Title: Writes like a dream

This is my second Aero. I ordered it in again a medium nib only this one seems to write slightly finer. Could also be the difference in ink wetness though...I still have to test that. I will say it again...this pen is a great investment. It writes like a dream...smooth as butter and that with the typical Diplomat steel nib. So pick your favorite color and start writing! You won't regret it. Kudos again to the Appelboom team for the service and tuning of my pen.

I purchased that "Diplomat Aero matte black" with a steel nib (B) a few month ago. It comes
in a very interesting box partially made of aluminium. It has become one of my favourite
pens since then. The pen is also made of aluminium so it feels really solid. It comes with a
cartige konverter but it also takes standard international cartiges. The zeppelin like shape of
the pen gives not only an interesting lock but also provide a good feeling, when you hold the
pen. For me it is a very handsome pen, good to write with, easy to hold, real solid and with a
great nib. The nib is the best steel nib I have ever used before. It is stiff, no flex, but very
smooth. There are gold nibs in the market, that aren't giving such a writing experience. The
clip is springy but also easy to bend. So you have to be a bit carefull about that. The pen can
be posted, but I don't like that. Neither does posting work very well nor does it look good. But
it is also not nessesary to post the pen, because even unposted it is big enough th write with
it. Posted the pen is a bit top heavy.

Den "Diplomat Aero Mattschwarz" habe ich vor ein paar Monaten mit einer Stahlfeder(B)
gekauft. Geliefert wird er in einer interessanten Box mit einem Schiebedeckel aus
Aluminium. Seitdem ist er zu einem meiner meistgenutzten Füller geworden. Auch der Füller
ist aus Aluminium hergestellt und fühlt sich deshalb sehr solide an, was er aber auch ist.
Geliefert wurde er zusamenn mit einem Konverter, er kann aber auch mit Standardpatronen
befüllt werden. Sein zeppelinartiges Aussehen Verhlft ihm nicht nur zu einem interessanten
Look, sondern macht ihn auch zu einem wirklichen Handschmeichler. Für mich ist es ein
sehr schöner, leicht zu haltender, solider Füller mit einer fantastischen Feder. Es ist die beste
Stahlfeder, mit der ich bisher geschrieben habe. Sie ist steif, kein Flex, aber schreibt
butterweich. Diese Stahlfeder ist besser als so manche Goldfeder im Markt. Der Clip federt
zwar, kann aber überdehnt werden. Hier muss man etwas vorsichtig sein. Man kann die
Kappe hinten suf den Füller stecken, nur ist der Füller dafür meines Erachtens nicht
geschaffen. Es hält nicht wirklich gut, sieht nicht gut aus und der Füller wird etwas kopflastig.
Der Füller ist aber auch so groß genug, um ohne aufgesteckte Kappe gut damit schreiben zu
können.
