Review Title: Elegance in a pencil

This pencil is very elegant, and visually reminds me of "the good old times" - 19th century like.. A perfect companion to the Classic platinum fountain pen. The platinum version is a bit lighter than the silver version, and in my hands, which are a bit smaller, it feels more balanced and user friendly than the silver pencil.

The body is quite slim, and I find the pencil is best held with your fingers on the lower band where "Graf con Faber-Castell" is engraved, just where the "stripes" begin. (Sorry, English is not my mother tongue)

You advance the lead by turning the top clock-wise, which means you have to operate it with both hands - one to hold the pencil, and one to turn the top. One movement of approx 150 degrees is enough to advance the lead to a suitable length.

The pencil is delivered in a beautiful wooden box, which has space for 3 pens.
