The metal or deep space blue resin of the body is covered in a design that recalls the intricate structures of the Widmanstätten Patterns found in meteorites, one of nature's most hypnotic creations. The metal parts are coated in dark ruthenium. 
The subdome on the cap top, over which the Montblanc emblem floats, comes in a deep space blue colour.
