Leonardo Dodici Magmatica ST Fountain pen

Leonardo introduces the new collection Dodici (Twelve), a number closely related to the number three, like the three fountain pens of this new line of Leonardo Officina Italiana inspired by the Italian tradition of faceted design fountain pens. The 12 facets of the fountain pen enhance the shapes, the angles and the geometry, a perfect balance harmoniously related to the perfection of the number 12.

The Leonardo Dodici Magmatica colors recalls the deep blue of seabeds and the dark nuance of magmatic rocks pouring into the sea. Magmatica like chaotic, blurred, as the natural forces mixing between sea and fire and finding again the balance in the seabeds and in their volcanic sediment. A balance reflected in the harmony of the faceted design of the fountain pen and in its elegant shapes, offering a unique experience of writing.

For the Leonardo Dodici a wide range of nibs is available: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub. You can choose between a #6 '’la fenice'’ gold nib or a #8 '’la fenice'’ gold nib both with ebonite feed. Leonardo's famous Elastic (flexible) nib is also available (only in the #6 sized nib). 

The fountain pens have an integrated piston filling mechanism with a large ink capacity of 1.5ml. Through the transparent ink window the ink level can be seen. It is possible to disassable the piston with the Leonardo steel wrench.
