I bought this nib to swap out a VF for this medium. The very fine nib was a bit scratchy for my taste. As is every VF nib to me. This nib writes as smooth as my other Kaweco medium nib. Thanks Joost!

I am very pleased with these nibs. For I while I wa afraid they would be too broad, so than my writing would be hard to read, but I took a chance on them, and I have not regretted at all. These double broad nibs write beautifully, and most of all they are so smooth that it is a pure please to use them.

I had the Kaweco Sport Skyline with the F nib, It wrote OK, but I wanted slightly thicker lines. Moreover, the neeb feeled a bit rough for my taste -- not scratchy, though.
So, I bought this wider M nib, and -- wow! Not only now the lines have perfect width, but it writes, a lot, a lot smother and pleasant!

After ordering two faulty Kaweco nibs from two other online fountain pen shops, I decided to take a chance ordering a third nib from Appelboom, and boy, I'm so glad I did! My new EF standard Kaweco nib now writes as well as my beloved Pilot Decimo 14k gold nib. A hearty thank you to the kind, professional folk at Appelboom who double checked my nib before sending it out to me. Also appreciate the next day shipping. I was surprised by how smooth the nib was. It is pleasant to use and I had no issues with starting and it never skipped. It was also very easy to attach to the pen. I am enjoying my Kaweco AL in vibrant violet now with an EF! Thanks Appelboom!

I do think that one of the reviews here is right kaweco nibs behave properly overtime but sometimes you do get direct results as well.
So you and nib has to travel long distance.

The best thing about kaweco nibs is that they are super easy to install and clean unlike other brands where either the feed is fixed cannot be removed or very difficult to remove.

I bought the replacement nib for my Kaweco Sport. A quick search on youtube shows how to install the nib on different types of Kaweco fountain pens. It’s an easy switch. Very happy with this replacement option, the nib is immediately fully functional.

I have purchased Kaweco replacement nib in EF from Appelboom using slowest and cheapest delivery within EU without tracking. I can say, that products were dispatched and delivered very fast, that is good to know. If you are using Kaweco pens, you know what to expect. At first few weeks nib skpis first letter because of suffering from babys bottom. But after some time of writing, paper will smooth nib out and you will get very smooth and reliable pen. So dont get upset of badly writing nib, it is part of experience.

Kaweco nib has well known issue; hard starting or baby's bottom.
I've already experienced hard stating with my kaweco F nib gold plated.
However, My 3 EF nibs works very fine.
The line width is very fine.
I didnt experience hard starting nor dryness nor bad flowness with EF nibs.
I ordered M nib this time, I hope I don't need any adjustment.

I've had good and bad experiences with Kaweco nibs bought from different sellers. Sometimes the nib will write well, sometimes it'll have issues from the start. The great thing about buying a spare nib from Appelboom is that I can trust them to sell me one that will write as it should.

Unlike my fellow reviewers that have written here under me I am totally in awe about the quality of the Kaweco nibs! No tuning necessary at all. Writing smooth as butter as soon as you ink them. I bought the F and M to complement my DIA2 with an EF nib and yes I'm totally happy with both.
To close my review I also want to ad that Appelboom's service is as always impeccable. Always a pleasure buying here,

De bestelde stalen penpunt (BB) van Kaweco is snel en correct door Appelboom geleverd! Top!

De stalen penpunt schrijft goed maar zoals de bij meeste penpunten van Kaweco is fine tuning soms gewenst om aan de persoonlijke wens aan te passen (dmv micro mesh pad). Penpunt bevalt verder heel goed.

It´s only a steel nib, so there's not too much to say about. Works as expected: a little hard at the beginning, but it seems it's been smoother day by day. I suppose that a 14 Kt gold EF nib should be smoother, but this steel nib it's good enough for an everyday pocket fountain pen.
