A beautifully finished pen that is a bit of fun, and puts a smile on my face every time I look at it: Bauhaus with a nod to Piet Mondrian!
It’s my second Diplomat A+. I have fairly large hands and I always use it with the cap posted. I love that it's a slightly larger, heavier pen which rests in my hand and requires less grip tension than a light weight pen, so I can write for a longer time without fatigue or cramp.

The custom nib grind gives the Broad nib a smoothness and lovely character with perfect ink flow.

From ordering to delivery to rural Australia was 4 weeks … very impressive!
Thanks to everyone at Appelboom.

I purchased the pen in stainless steel medium nib and am in love with it. Throughout the purchasing process, I was in contact with Joost Appelboom and couldn't have asked for a smoother inquiry. My questions regarding availability and whether the pen would fit my needs were all answered within a few hours. I highly recommend this stunning piece to anyone looking into fountain pens with a timeless and bold look.
