The Pineider Alchemist Kilauea Blue 14k fountain pen is made from a new material with extraordinary properties: zeolite. This material is considered by many to be a universal panacea or the alchemist’s stone, sometimes known as the philosopher’s stone or the fifth element.

Zeolites are volcanic minerals formed millions of years ago by an encounter of lava and seawater. The name literally means ‘boiled (zeo) stone (lithos)’.
