This is a rare demonstrator pen from Pelikan. The M800 Green Demonstrator is a very pretty pen and the M800 writing experience is flawless. Many view the M800 as the perfect balance in size and writing experience. I think the M800 is a perfect fountain pen. The nib is completely reliable right out of the box. Unlike the larger M1000 pen, which has a very flexible nib that can be quite temperamental, the M800 nib is fairly inflexible but incredibly reliable time and again. Being able to see the level of ink in the pen easily is a real plus.

I enjoy using this pen very much. It writes well and fits well in my hand. Seems well built. I would have preferred the decorative rings to be more like the prior issue (two vs. one) but it's not a deal killer since i love the color.

I am not a fan of demonstrator pens, even though I have the clear Pelikan demo with English writing and the clear demo with Chinese writing, I just bought these for my Pelikan collection not because I liked them. But, this green demonstrator is just beautiful, I don't know why but to me it is a beautiful pen. I put in in my collection and I haven't inked it yet but I keep looking at it and debating what color ink to use, Love this pen.
