This is one gorgeous pen. It is oversized, but extremely comfortable in the hand. The pen has a #8 steel nib that is highly polished and is quite stunning. The nib on the pen that I ordered is a medium, is very smooth and lays down just the right amount of ink. The only problem that I encountered with the pen is that the section-barrel interface is very tight, to the point that it is difficult to unscrew the section from the barrel and, similarly, it is very difficult to screw the section back into the barrel after the pen is inked (this is a cartridge-converter pen). Applying silicone grease did not help. Aside from this, the pen is absolutely wonderful.
