The Rhodia Webnotebook is the most fountain pen friendly notebook there is in the market. The famous Rhodia desk-sized journal goes everywhere and is filed with functionality. The Rhodia Webnotebook A5 is available with black or orange Italian leatherette hardcover with matching elastic closure. The Rhodia Webnotebook A5 is 140 X 210 mm and features 96 pages of high quality 90 gram Clairefontaine ivory paper. The webnotebook has an inner pocket and bookmark.

In 1934 two brothers, Henri and Robert Verilhac founded a stationary company in Lyon, France. They named this company ''Rhodia'' named after the Rhone, a river flowing by Lyon dividing the Alps from the Massif Central. Two years later they start producing the first authentic Rhodia notepads.

In 1997 Rhodia was purchased by Clairefontaine and production transferred to Mulhouse, in Alsace, France. All Rhodia paper is acid-free and ink-friendly. Their bright orange covers make them instantly recognizable all over the world in the stores or on the street. The famous Rhodia logo dates back to 1932. Legend has it that the two Rhodia fir trees symbolize the two founding brothers.

I love this notebook, so much so that I have already ordered a second in the other color. I really enjoy that it lays flat, and has quality fountain pen friendly paper with no bleed-through. This notebook has a classy look with an elastic closure, and it is of a higher quality than some of the other popular elastic closure brands we all hear about. All of this at a price of about half of the similar styled notebooks.

Na Leuchtturm en moleskine geprobeerd te hebben ben ik bij Rhodia beland. Dit notebook heeft veel beter papier dan zowel de moleskine (afgrijsselijk papier) en de Leuchtturm.

Het enige dat ik bij dit notebook mis is de index in het begin en de genummerde bladzijden. Daar krijg je dan weer wel papier voor terug dat minder uitvloeit dan Leuchtturm en dat in tegenstelling tot Moleskine wel geschikt is voor vulpennen.

Voor de prijs echt een aanrader en als Tomoe river te dun is wat ghosting betreft dan zou ik zeker voor Rhodia gaan.

This is by far my favourite notebook. I have several in use. Black for work, brown as a diary for my coffee roasting hobby. At work people often ask me "What kind of Moleskin is that?". My answer: "a much better one". The paper is excellent for fountain pen, the cover is nice and sturdy and the feel of that leatherette is the best. Highly recommended.

The webnotebook looks cool and the A5 version it's also very portable.

A very good paper for fountain pens. You can also use the back side of the page without any problems because the ink doesn't pass through the page also with the broader nibs that lays down a lot of ink.

I had some issues (hard starts and skipping) with some of my fountain pens in some areas of the pages due to the coating of the paper, maybe the paper is too smooth.

I hope that Rhodia in the near future makes this notebook also with a more white paper that allows to appreciate more the colour of the ink that you use and not only with ivory paper.

If you are into good quality paper then you will love Rhodia..the design of the notebook makes it ideal for taking notes either for personal or for business. The paper is great for fountain pens .. you cannot go wrong with this notebook/paper..

This paper is perfect for use with fountain pens. No bleedthrough of any kind and as smooth as a baby's bottom.

Your pen will fly, leaving you stunned about all the words you have written.

I write short and long stories in these and my thoughts just flow onto the paper as if it pulls the words directly from my mind through my fountain pen and onto the paper.
It feels like my stories even have improved.
