The Danitrio Genkai Roiro-Migaki Kuro is a fountain pen from Japan, renowned for its high-quality urushi (Japanese lacquer) and a special "roiro-migaki" finish (non-oil based). This means the pen features a deep, lustrous finish in a traditional Japanese color called "Kuro" (a deep black), crafted using traditional Japanese artisanship. The Genkai is a large fountain pen from the Genkai series, which also features a #8 18k gold nib and an eyedropper filling system.

About the Danitrio Genkai fountain pen series:

The owner of Danitrio named this series of pens "Genkai," which means "limit" in Japanese. The intention was for this to be Danitrio's largest pen series, with no other pen ever surpassing it in size. He had no idea that he would later develop a series featuring an even larger pen — the Yokozuna.
