Design & Craftsmanship

The pen has been sculpturally crafted by master jewellers from solid sterling silver. Both the barrel and cap are richly decorated with highly detailed relief work referring to the route and the principal participants of the historic race.

Motifs representing New York, Moscow and Paris are combined with depictions of the three winning automobiles from the United States, Germany and Italy. Smaller details, including oil cans, driving goggles and gloves, further evoke the pioneering spirit of early twentieth-century motoring.
