Pineider expands their Avatar range with the Avatar UR Traveller. The Traveller uses a new filling system: Twin Tank Touchdown. This filling system allows two writing positions, accommodating short and long writing sessions, which are activated with an ingenious mechanism inside the caseback. In other words, the pen has two ink compartments, a small one that is always connected to the nib and a large one that holds the main bulk from the ink and can either be used to refill the small compartment or as a direct source of ink for longer writing sessions. Ideal for travelling.

UltraResin is a mother of pearl compound resin in a special formula, developed in Florence for Pineider. This compound is very stiff and its exceptional features makes it widely better than celluloid, the historical material of the pen industry. UltraResin is extremely rigid, nearly like metal, incredibly resistant to hits, very close to being unbreakable, resistant to oils, inks, electricity, high and low temperatures, UV rays and any weathering condition.
