Really enjoy this pen. Excellent craftsmanship. Some may say it’s a bit on the heavy side but that it part of the reason I bought a sturdy silver pen.

What a wonderful writing instrument. Beautiful Bauhaus design. Precise nib. Suberb craftsmanship. A lovely substantial weight in the hand. Appelboom's service was great. Received the pen in less than a week from ordering. Get one before they're all gone.

I bought my OH D07 broad nib a couple of years ago, I think. It’s a very beautiful pen! It evokes an elegant simplicity. I love its heftiness, and its girth is perfect for my big hands. Writing with it is a dream: smooth nib with a wet ink flow. For its price, it’s a fabulous writing instrument! Thank you, Appellboom pens!

This pen with medium nib is fantastic! It is a heavy pen but is very easy to use. It is well balanced and very easy to write with. The feedback from the nib is perfect. May be using this pen for a good while before I put it away. For me it is just a little to heavy to carry in a shirt pocket, wouldn't want to take the chance of loosing it either.

I can't remember the last time I was so impressed by a combination of quality, value, cost and (again) quality as that offered by the Otto Hutt Design 07 sterling silver.

Mine's fitted with a medium nib which was absolutely perfect out of the box, with good but not wet ink flow and smooth yet slightly bouncy laydown on the page. Balance in the hand is also perfect so although it's not a light pen it never feels heavy either. That said, I should mention I never post my pens.

I placed an order knowing the pen would need to be ordered in from Otto Hutt in Germany before it could be forwarded by Appelboom to me in the UK. I placed the order on a Monday and was delighted to receive a despatch email from Appelboom the following Friday, with the pen being delivered to me exactly one week after it was ordered. That's outstanding service, both from Appelboom and also of course from Otto Hutt.

I've been delighted with this purchase.
