Design & Inspiration

The Louis Cartier Python is inspired by an iconic Cartier cigarette case from the 1930s. Its design is characterised by an intriguing pattern of deep black lacquer and warm gold-coloured ribs, creating the flowing texture associated with python skin.

The combination of black lacquer and gold-coloured detailing gives the pen a distinctly luxurious appearance. The refined surface is achieved through a meticulous process of engraving, lacquering and polishing.

Signature Cartier Details

The pen features the distinctive design codes of the Louis Cartier collection. The cap ring bears the signature of Louis Cartier, while the clip is finished with the iconic C de Cartier emblem.

The top of the cap is crowned with a deep black onyx cabochon, providing an elegant contrast to the gold-coloured detailing.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18-karat (Au 750) solid gold nib.
