Pineider Alchemist Kilauea Blue Reservoarpenna

The Pineider Alchemist Kilauea Blue fountain pen is made from a new material with extraordinary properties: zeolite. This material is considered by many to be a universal panacea or the alchemist’s stone, sometimes known as the philosopher’s stone or the fifth element.

Zeolites are volcanic minerals formed millions of years ago by an encounter of lava and seawater. The name literally means ‘boiled (zeo) stone (lithos)’. The material in the Alchemist pens consists of over 40% pure zeolite. This makes the pen highly durable, but also gives it a very pleasant tactile feeling. Because the material is microporous, the surface is velvety to the touch and naturally hygroscopic, giving it an excellent grip when held.
