With a history of more than 40 years of manufacturing, including producing high-end pens for other brands, Ta Shin Precision decided to start selling under their own brand, TWSBI. The name TWSBI is made up from TWS and BI. ‘TWS’ is the reversed initials of the phrase ‘San Wen Tong’, translated Hall of Three Cultures, and ‘BI’ literally means writing instrument.

I was very pleased with the TWSBI ink bottle and the ease with which I’ve been able to use that to fill my Diamond 580 and they’ve done it again and made it easier still.
The pipe filler tool is well made, sturdy enough metal and is easy to clean. It makes getting into any bottle very easy, and the fact that it can be used with standard international converters makes this an excellent option for anyone who uses standard converters, TWSBI or not. Would absolutely recommend.

I made this purchase for its very intentional purpose, and that is to get into small sample vials or nitty gritty areas of a near-empty bottle of ink, and for me, to also extract ink from bottles with very narrow openings (ahem … Ferris Wheel), And the Pipe does just that!
