Description
After the successful (demonstrator) fountain pens where TWSBI is mostly known of, they now come up with a limited edition ink range. The ink is made in China and comes in a glass ink bottle which contains 18ml of ink.
The name of this ink range is 1791 and is a reference to the famous book ”The Dreams of the Red Chamber” which was written in 1791 in China.
With a history of more than 40 years of manufacturing, including producing high-end pens for other brands, Ta Shin Precision decided to start selling under their own brand, TWSBI. The name TWSBI is made up from TWS and BI. ‘TWS’ is the reversed initials of the phrase ‘San Wen Tong’, translated Hall of Three Cultures, and ‘BI’ literally means writing instrument.

Great color. Flows well and once dry doesn’t seem to smear or bleed very much. Cool little bottle and I feel like it was money well spent. Bought it to go with my Leonardo Momento Zero Mango ST Fountain pen.
