Description

The Tibaldi Bononia is made in resin with palladium trim. The collection comes in three colour variations, Rich Black, Martini Olive and Seashell Mist.

The Tibaldi Bononia is a resin fountain pen with palladium steel trim, fitted with fine stainless steel ebonite feeder nib. The pen is converter or cartridge fed.

Today’s collections of pens form a powerful shortlist of iconic pieces from the archives, blending streetstyle trends with fashion metrics. A reloaded mix of writing staples that strikes as perfectly familiar and incredibly adventurous at the same time.

Authentically Italian, this brand is heart-beating since 1916. Originated in Florence by Giuseppe Tibaldi – a man with a singular passion for making pens, the company proved an industrial dream come true up until 1965. After several decades of management turnovers in the past, it is nowadays presided by the Aquila family, an Italian life-long virtuoso in the pen industry, and a major proprietor of both Tibaldi and Montegrappa trademarks. The Tibaldi company headquarters moved from Florence to Bassano del Grappa in 2004, giving this notorious label a new and irreverent rebranded impetus.

2 reviews for Tibaldi Bononia Seashell Mist Fountain pen

This is a gorgeous looking pen. The material is semi translucent, the build is sturdy and well-balanced. The only down side was the performance of the EF nib. Despite its Ebonite feed, it writes too dry for my taste. Still, overal a well build pen.

The Tibaldi Bononia is a beatiful pen, it writes like a dream and has that right size that just fits into the hand. The only true downside is that the pattern and shiftings aren’t matching between the barrel, the section, grip or cap. The illusion somewhat is broken once you start looking at the details, which is a sad thing, because if it had been matching – it would simply be a solid five for this segment. Still, a beatiful pen, a great writer and just a super nice pen.
