The Rhodia Classic Wirebound Notebook is the most fountain pen friendly notebook there is in the market. This Rhodia Classic Wirebound Notebook A4 features 80 sheets extra white 80g acid-free, pH neutral paper and a coated and waterproof black or orange cover. Ruled (8mm) paper with margins on all four sides. Sheets are microperforated for easy removal.
In 1934 two brothers, Henri and Robert Verilhac founded a stationary company in Lyon, France. They named this company ”Rhodia” named after the Rhone, a river flowing by Lyon dividing the Alps from the Massif Central. Two years later they start producing the first authentic Rhodia notepads.
In 1997 Rhodia was purchased by Clairefontaine and production transferred to Mulhouse, in Alsace, France. All Rhodia paper is acid-free and ink-friendly. Their bright orange covers make them instantly recognizable all over the world in the stores or on the street. The famous Rhodia logo dates back to 1932. Legend has it that the two Rhodia fir trees symbolize the two founding brothers.

Ik ben erg blij met mijn Rhodia Classic spiraal notitieboek A4+. Het is zo handig om te schrijven met een spiraal notitieboek en ik ben onder de indruk van de kwaliteit van het papier. Het schrijft mooi en smelt niet door, zelfs met mijn zwaardere pen. Ik ben ook erg blij met de stevige, stijlvolle kaft. Ik zal zeker meer van deze notitieboeken kopen in de toekomst.

The Clairefontaine paper in these Rhodia notebooks is almost perfect for a fountain pen. There is a wonderful satin finish on the paper is beautiful to write on. The paper (80g/m) is lined with a margin and 4 punched holes for filing. The ruling has an obvious “header” section to help you organise your papers. The pages are A4+ with a micro perforation. When (if!) you tear the pages out of the notebook the torn out page is A4. The paper also works well with pencil and ballpoint.
