1 review for Opus 88 Fantasia Black Fountain pen

These are lovely little pens, very small yet full-sized when posted and the eyedropper system means they hold a great deal of ink. They are also extremely cute.

I now have two of them, ordered this one as I’d heard the company was not to going to continue making them. It arrived meticulously packed and there was a charming little added gift of two delicious Dutch wafers in the box.

My only caveat about these pens is that ebonite, the material of the cap, is a bit fragile; some years ago I dropped one of them and it cracked irreparably. I ended up buying two more; beware!

Appelboom’s has been an excellent company to deal with: shipping was included in the price (within EU at least) and the packaging was really well done.
