Description
The British Tan collection is the newest line of Esterbrook Pen Nooks. The look is inspired by a classic car interior, creating a perfect companion for the office, road trip, or pen show.
The British Tan leatherette has contrasting white stitching, gold hardware, the Esterbrook Eternity logo on the snap and a lined interior with the Esterbrook Eternity symbol in brown and orange.
Each Nook has a flap that easily snaps and unsnaps to reveal your collection, which is housed in individual, cushioned sections, and secured with elastic for safekeeping.
Choose a British Tan Nook for one, two, three, six or twelve pens.

PROS:
Protects pens well: firm cardboard structure with soft interior fabric. Elastic bands in slots hold most pens securely against padding on bottom.
Generously proportioned slots that snugly hold even a Pilot Custom Urushi (or two!).
Convenient magnetic closure of flaps.
CONS:
Fake leather rather than the real deal; all made in China.
One elastic band used for both pen slots: insufficient tension in the band to secure thin pens unless both slots are occupied. Even then a slight risk of the pens’ moving inside, but not a problem for large pens.
Stitching serves no structural purpose: parts are simply glued together. Dry glue still visible between the gaps.
CONCLUSION:
Combines large pen slots with sturdiness of construction and a (mostly) secure internal fastener. It is perfect for my needs, but the build quality is incommensurate with its asking price. I especially dislike the exposed glue.
