I’m not fond of wirebound notebooks so the staplebound notebooks are just perfect for me and the quality of the paper is great for using fountain pens.

Love these lined notebooks. Helps keep my writing small and helps me practice consistency when lettering with a fine or extra fine tip nib. Really good paper. Excellent for note taking.

Its an excellent notebook. The ink doesn’t feather. It is a dream to write on.

Because of the seyes ruling my handwriting has improved exponentially. And the Clairefontaine paper is a dream to write on anyway. Smooth and perfectly suitable for use with fountain pens.

It is absobent enough but not too absobent so the inkflow is perfect.

It does take some practice to write on the seyes ruling, but there are many YouTube vids that give you all the info you need, including information from French teachers where the seyes ruling is used trough the early years of learning to write. Most of the French I know have a near perfect handwriting all through life!
