This pen is stunning. A great, simple, elegant design. It provides a unique and smooth writing experience and feels great in the hand. The finish is not the most durable, but the matte black and gun metal design is a real winner. For my full review check out my video at https://youtu.be/Sefe4aUBAAc

There is plenty to like about this pen. It looks great, is comfortable, well-balanced writes beautifully.
This would have been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for Aurora’s abysmal quality when it comes to the matte black furniture. After just a few months I noticed a some shiny spots on the clip and finial. These became larger and multiplied over the following weeks. The matte plating just comes off after a while revealing the shiny metal underneath. My pen received regular but careful use and was always stored in an isolated compartment of a pen case when not in use.
Appelboom (who have been great to deal with) organised an exchange under warranty. The pen was away with Aurora for a FULL 6 MONTHS before a replacement (not repair) arrived.
I was EXTRA careful with the new one but within 2 months this one is going the same way.
Spend your money elsewhere. Buyers should get a lot more at this price than the shoddy quality and after sales service Aurora provide.

The design is very slick. It is a bit pricey but Aurora products are high quality. I received the pen very quickly and Appelboom customer service had been great.

I originally owned this pen just a short while ago. The M nib was excellent and enjoyed using it. When I moved to smaller planners and journals, I was more into EF and F (Japanese nibs), so I sold it.
I’ve so missed the Talentum, that I re-purchased it. The smooth Aurora (Aurora factory- made) nib was missing from my experience. I’m so glad to have it back. The nib is wet and juicy with wet inks and tame and well-behaved with drier inks, my preference. Even one who loves EF and F nibs, needs a M. And Aurora is the way to go.
