Montblanc Heritage Rouge et Noir Solitaire Serpent LE 1906 Fountain pen 116554
The Montblanc Rouge et Noir Solitaire Serpent LE 1906 Fountain pen is inspired by one of the first fountain pens made by Montblanc. When it was developed in 1906, the Montblanc ‘Rouge et Noir’ fountain pen was considered an outstanding technical achievement, ensuring simple operation without the need for dipping the nib into an inkwell. The Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir celebrates the 110-year-old pioneering spirit of the brand.
Reinterpreting the legendary writing instrument, it features a longer, slimmer silhouette, modern piston filler technology and craftsmanship refined over generations. This limited edition is inspired by its original made in 1920. The engraving of a serpent can be found along the platinum body of the pen. The snake clip is inspired by the snake clips, which were very popular in the 1920’s, and gives a vintage appearance with matching details. The clip is made by a stamping and winding process in a special alloy metal, and is aged by a unique galvanic and stripping process in champagne gold. The eyes of the snake clip of the coral version are made of two garnets.
The Montblanc Heritage Rouge et Noir Solitaire Serpent LE 1906 Fountain pen is limited to 1906 pieces worldwide.
The Montblanc Heritage Rouge et Noir Fountain pen has a 18kt gold nib with snake engraving and uses a piston filling system.
The name Montblanc has always been associated with precious gifts and keepsakes that reflect the pinnacle of artisanal prowess and traditional craftsmanship.
